The Bone House was a month-long creative exchange between Saskatoon artists Maia Stark and Alexa Hainsworth. Created during their residency at the Bridges Art Movement (BAM) gallery, the work transformed the exhibition space into a fantastical landscape where the biological meets the surreal. Through a multidisciplinary fusion of sewing, painting, and drawing, Stark and Hainsworth investigate the intricacies of the body, creating an environment that oscillates between the vastness of the macro world and the intimacy of the cellular.
